## How fees work When someone pays you on Stridee, two fees are deducted before the funds reach your balance: 1. **Processing fee** — [Stripe](https://stripe.com/pricing), our payment processor, charges a credit card fee (typically 2.9% + 30 cents). This is just an estimation — the exact rate depends on the card type and country of the buyer. 2. **Stridee fee** — a small platform fee on top of the processing fee. This is how Stridee sustains itself and keeps building new features for you. The rate varies by plan — check your [billing settings](/settings/billing) to see your current rate. Both fees are deducted automatically. You can tap any transaction in your [balance](/balance) to see the exact breakdown. ## About processing fees Stridee makes no money on processing fees. They are simply the cost of working with payment infrastructure, and we pass them through to you at cost with zero markup. You can see Stripe's full pricing breakdown on their [pricing page](https://stripe.com/pricing). We already offer some of the most competitive fees in the market, but we're not stopping there. As we grow, we expect to secure even better rates — and when we do, we'll pass those savings directly on to you. ## Payout fees Some payouts are subject to a small fee charged by our payment processor to cover bank transfer costs.
